Hi everyone I know I haven’t blogged in a while but I have recently come back from photographing a lovely wedding in Cornwall so thought it was the perfect opportunity to start again!
On Friday the 3rd May we made the trip down to Cornwall, I went with my Grandad who was the designated driver, but also the videographer and second photographer for the Wedding. We had a good trip down, and the weather was so good when we got down there that we even got a 99 with a flake. I can certainly say I’ve never eaten an ice cream with such a good view! :)
We stayed in a bed and breakfast which was lovely, previous to this Wedding I had never been to Cornwall, it’s so beautiful there so I will definitely be returning.
On Saturday 4th May, It was the big day, every moment from bridal prep to the dodgy end of the night dancing was captured. Weddings are fantastic occasions where you feel so privileged to be a part of it. Being the photographer meant I was quite a big part of it too! ;) Their day was simply lovely, I loved the red colour that the bridesmaids wore, to match the flowers, this is something that is always lovely to capture, as is the bridal prep this is one of my favourite parts as everyone is so excited to see the bride all ready for her Wedding, including me. :)
It was so lovely to capture Erin & Steve’s big day having done a couple shoot with them a few years before. Being asked to be their wedding photographer was a great feeling, and I can say I have never shot in such a stunning location as Pendennis Castle it was a great experience, and was great to add to the portfolio. Some of the shots below were taken from the castle, I don’t like heights all that much but the views were certainly worth it!
Here are a selection of photos from the big day!
Thank you for reading, and I would like to wish Erin & Steve all the best for their future together. x
